Deathwatch: Suffer Not the Xenos to Live
Intimidating: The owner gains a +5 bonus to Intimidate while the gun is visible. The Idumea-pattern was made to impress; the Tech-priests of Idumea hoped to use the weapon as a showcase of their prowess. Every gun has a sleek matte black construction and the fore-end has diagonal vents cut into that cause the chambered energy shots to glow eerily through the weapon.
Longbarrel: The lasgun has 10 meters added to its range. The Idumea had access to an STC for a carbine with range closer to that of a rifle. Instead of a longer barrel, the gun accomplishes this by pulling incrementally more energy from the charge pack, which has the side effect of slightly lowering the clip size of the weapon (see below).
Exceptional Pattern: Logistics tests gain +20 to acquire Good and Best craftmanship versions of this weapon. The Adeptus Mechanicus of Idumea made most of these Lascarbines with care and precision, constructed only by their senior Tech-priests. The majority of the leftover stock of the Idumea-pattern are of these better designs and only talented Tech-priests can make them now.
Forgotten Construction: Characters suffer -30 to Tech-Use and other tests to repair the lascarbine. It was manufactured over 600 years ago and the retrogressive tech-priests of Idumea no longer fully understand the techniques used to manufacture the weapon.
Small Clip: The Idumea-pattern lascarbine has a charge pack of 55 shots instead of 60. The gun holds a smaller charge due to its extended range as described above.
